Cyril is a squirrel monster that made his first and only debut on the All version of Rampage: Total Destruction. He is exclusive only to Wii version of the game and is one of 10 bonus monsters out of the 40 monsters
He is unavailable to either PlayStation 2 or GameCube versions of the game.
Background[]
Rampage: Total Destruction (2006)[]
Cyril's participated in a Scum Soda taste testing trial set up by Scumlabs, only to have transformed into a giant Squirrel and imprisoned in a Cryo-Tube in Dallas night.
Strategy[]
He can be unlocked as a playable monster in Dallas if the player is able to free him from the Cryo-Tube. The Cryo-Tube is hidden in a building in Turtle Creek; the player can free him by punching a hole in the building he is hidden, and if the player spots a glint of a bright green aura flashing from the hole, the player must punch the hole to smash the Cryo-Tube and set Cyril free.
- Using Joe the Wildman or Sarah the Spider on the Nintendo Wii version of the game will result in Cyril physically hopping out of the building and walking off the screen.
Cyril the Squirrel will then become a playable monster in the Monster Selection Menu.
Trivia[]
- Out of the 10 bonus monsters on the Nintendo Wii version, Cyril is one of 3 to actually be unlocked in Dallas, the others being Fifi the Poodle and Plucky the Chicken. Each of the last 7 bonus monsters require an X amount of monsters to be fully upgraded in order to unlock the bonus monsters individually.
- Cyril, along with Fifi, Plucky, Sarah, Squirmy, Fabio, Boris, Ruby, Brian and V.E.R.N are the only monsters without official descriptions detailed on the official Rampage: Total Destruction website.
- Coincidentally, they are Wii excluslves.
- Though Cyril is a Squirrel it is unknown what species of Squirrel in particular he is.
- His name was likely chosen by how similar it sounds to the word "squirrel".
- When playing as Cyril, you will not take damage when electrocuted, When electrocuted by fuse boxes, you will gain 500 bonus points. Regardless whether you are electrocuted by a fuse box or a hanging sign, you will gain the "Speed Boost" effect.
- There is a glitch with the electrocution "Speed Boost" feature. If you are in under the "Rampage" effect or "Speed Boost" effect by the "Speed Boost" power up and are electrocuted, the next time you are electrocuted you will not gain the "Speed Boost" effect. To fix this, just get electrocuted again.
